FAQ

Do we need to get our data in order before we start?

No, and that is precisely where we start. We work from your data as it is, scattered across your ERPs, exports, spreadsheets and tools, including systems with no API. No prior data project is required, and no migration either.

How long before an automation is in production?

Two to four weeks from scoping to production. You see your automated process running on your own data before you commit to the next steps.

How are you different from a standard automation tool?

Those tools assume your data is already clean and leave reliability up to you. We take charge of the whole chain, from raw data to automation in production, and we run it with you over time.

How do you make sure the results are reliable?

AI brings flexibility, while deterministic code enforces business rules and controls. Every workflow run and every AI call is traced end to end and auditable. No black box.

Who owns the workflows and the data?

You do. Your data and workflows remain your property, and you have full read access to them at all times: workflows, business rules, configurations. Every contract includes a reversibility clause, and workflows are written in an open format that can be read and re-run outside the platform.

Where is the data hosted, and which AI models do you use?

Everything is hosted in France, by Scaleway, with end-to-end encryption and strict isolation for each client. We select the right model for each task based on performance and confidentiality requirements, with a preference for open-weight models. No dependency on a single provider.

Who founded Forteresse?

Forteresse was founded and is led by Eric Cholet and Jean Gourdault-Montagne. They previously co-founded and ran Marketshot (Choisir.com), a leading energy and telecom comparison and brokerage company, sold to Groupe La Poste in 2022. Forteresse is a member of Hub France IA and a laureate of the Scaleway Growth Stage Startup program.
